Below are a few milestones Emily achieved this month:
- started crawling (bring on the babyproofing!)
- able to stand holding on to something
- can pick up a piece of food and put in her mouth
- can almost pull herself up
- blows kisses and makes a kissing noise (so cute!)
- cutting another tooth :(
- responds when you say "What does the cow say?" with "Oooh" *supposed to be Moo, but we'll get there

I'm glad we didn't listen to the doctors. They recommended that we see a physical therapist since Emily was a little slower with moving her legs. It's amazing how quickly she picks up on things. She went from barely putting any weight on her legs last month to standing all by herself this month. I'm so proud of my little girl.

Everyday she is becoming more and more interactive. Her hand coordination is getting so much better too. She is growing up too fast. I can't believe she will be 1 year old soon.

Below are a few new milestones Emily reached this month:
- she learned how to wave bye-bye
- she started saying "mama"
- laughs when tearing up paper
- tried cantaloupe for the first time and loved it
- recognized the word "clap" and started clapping her hands
- drank from a sippy cup
- went in the pool for the first time (and loved it!)
- learned to splash in the bathtub
- went on the swings for the first time at the park
- got her first two teeth!

Clothing size: 9 months - 12 months depending on the brand

Favorites: She still loves her Click & Learn Remote and keys. She also loves her piano I got her. Anything with music she really loves. Her favorite thing to do is sit in front of the mirror and stare at her reflection.

Emily is much more interactive now. She is able to quickly recognize a stranger and puckers up if they get too close. But once she gets to know you, she's a little chatterbox! She loves being around people. Shopping is her favorite - she really enjoys riding around the mall. She loves looking at herself in the mirror. She thinks it's another baby looking at her. She loves to dance and loves music! She loves to laugh and play with mommy and daddy. Bedtime stories are so much fun for her. It's so great watching her little personality develop.

Below are a few milestones she hit this month:
- tried a few more solids: peas, prunes (she loves them!), yellow squash/zucchini, chicken
- sits up on her own with no support
- dances to music
- reaches for EVERYTHING to put in her mouth
- loves saying dada, working on mama now ;)
- rolls over both ways - front to back and back to front
- plays peek-a-boo (she controls the blanket herself)
- taps her head to yours when you lean forward

- tried more solid foods - pears, avocados, green beans, plums, peaches, carrots. She's definitely not a big fan of vegetables. We'll have to figure out a way to sneak some veggies in there somehow!
- started feeling separation anxiety when we leave the room
- said 'da da' for the first time
